Live Cohort Syllabus Overview
Foundations of Astro Mapping is a live, four-session cohort designed to help you build a clear and practical understanding of astrocartography and locational astrology. This course focuses on map literacy, discernment, and real-world application, rather than prediction or certification.
Each session builds on the last, allowing time between meetings to explore your own map and integrate what you’re learning.
This is a map literacy course: focused on understanding, discernment, and real-world application.
Students will have lifetime access to the course.

What You’ll Learn
We begin by establishing the core framework so you understand how astrocartography fits within astrology as a whole.
A brief history of astrocartography and locational astrology
How astrocartography maps are calculated (conceptually, not technically)
Natal charts vs. relocated charts: how and why they differ
The four angles (ASC, MC, DSC, IC) and how they shape planetary expression
How to approach maps without fear-based interpretations
This session lays the groundwork for reading maps with clarity and confidence.

Once the structure is clear, we move into interpretation.
Understanding planetary line themes in a locational context
How angle + planet combinations change meaning
Supportive, neutral, and challenging expressions of lines
Recognizing patterns and repetition across your map
How personal experience and intuition factor into interpretation
This week focuses on learning how to read the map rather than memorizing meanings.

Parans and how simultaneous planetary angularity works
Local space lines and directional symbolism
Aspect lines and how they differ from standard planetary lines
A brief introduction to timing in locational astrology
This week is about nuance, context, and knowing when more information is actually helpful.

•Integrating astrocartography with the rest of your chart
•When not to use astrocartography as the deciding factor
•Common edge cases and nuanced scenarios
•Live Q&A and group discussion
•Optional mini map walkthroughs (time permitting)
This final session is about confidence, clarity, and integration.
